Family Fest 2021 - A week of virtual events

 

ELE & METCO FAMILY FEST 2021

 

June 14-June 17

It's time to celebrate the end of the school year! 

 

Join us for a week of free virtual events featuring art workshops, a magic show (with a special lesson), a puppet show, a live animal show, and music with DJ! Open to ALL ELE & METCO students and their families. For Zoom meeting ID & passcode, please send an email to sejin_choi@psbma.org.

Make a Zine! 

Monday, 6/14 (6:00-7:00 PM)

Let’s make a zine out of a piece of paper and then design, collage, draw, and write a story to fill the pages. Materials Needed: Pencils, markers, sharpies, white sheets of paper and scissors. Animal World Experience's Variety Show!

The Magic of Jason Purdy  

Tuesday, 6/15 (7:00-8:00 PM)

Magician Jason Purdy will present a magic show featuring amazing magic, live animals, mindreading, silly fun and more! The show is interactive and he might even call on you to assist him! He will even share some fun secrets with you. Video links will be provided after the show. Materials Needed: A deck of cards, a small hair tie (the basic round type or a rubber band), small sandwich Ziploc bag(s) (the kind you squeeze with your fingers, not the kind with the sliding piece) and scissors. The Joy Art Project 

Wednesday, 6/16 (6:00-7:00 PM)

We are celebrating the joy of Juneteenth, graduations, and the start of summer! We’ll bring feelings of hope and happiness into our artwork. MassArt Art Museum (MAAM) educator, Ms. Doggett, guides us through artmaking techniques to express emotion through mark making, color, and pattern. Puppet Showplace Theatre Show: Judy Saves the Day
